Transfer Certificate (TC)
The certificate a school issues when a student leaves, confirming their details, class and conduct, needed for admission elsewhere.
A TC is usually issued after a no-dues check — fees, library books and other items cleared. In school software, the TC is generated from the student record using the school's template, and the student's status changes to "left" with the history kept.
