Know who is on campus — and who leaves with each child

The gate is the school's first line of safety

A child leaving early with an uncle the guard has never seen. A visitor who says they are here for "Sir" and walks into the corridors. A courier signed for and lost. Front desks handle dozens of these moments a day, mostly with a pen and a register.

SSMS gives the front desk proper tools. Staff can pre-register visitors and send a QR pass; walk-ins are registered at the gate with photo, ID, purpose and the person they are meeting, who approves on their phone. A badge is printed and check-out recorded; a blacklist warns the guard.

For students leaving early, a gate pass is issued only to the parent or an authorised pick-up person: a one-time code goes to the parent's mobile, and the person collecting must give it, with their photo taken at the gate. A staff movement register records who went out on duty or personal work and when they returned. Inward and outward correspondence is logged and routed, and a lost & found register helps return items.
