School is more than marks

Sports day results, debate wins, house points, club attendance and the occasional discipline issue all shape a child's school life — and are usually tracked on notice boards and in a coordinator's notebook.

SSMS allots students and staff to houses in a balanced way and keeps house points from events. Clubs and activities have members, schedules and attendance. Achievements — event, level, position and certificate — are recorded on the student profile. Event photo galleries are shared with parents only where consent allows, and can appear on the school website.

Discipline is handled with care: incidents with category, severity, students involved, witnesses and evidence; actions from warning and counselling to suspension, with approval for serious ones; parent notification and meetings; and confidential notes visible only to those who need them.
