One message, the right people, the right language

Schools send dozens of messages a week — holidays, PTMs, fee reminders, exam schedules, emergencies — through a patchwork of SMS portals, WhatsApp groups and paper circulars. Some parents never see them; others get the same message three times; parents who read Gujarati get English.

SSMS has one notification engine behind every message. Notices go to the whole school, a class, a section or a role, with attachments and read receipts. Messages are sent by SMS, WhatsApp, email and in-app notification, with templates, retries, delivery status and fall-back to another channel when one fails. Every template can exist in several languages, and each parent receives it in their chosen language, or the school's default.

Automatic messages — attendance alerts, fee reminders, report cards published, bus approaching — use the same engine, so parents get one consistent voice from the school.
