Fee Head
A single component of school fees, such as tuition, admission, annual charges, exam fee or transport, each linked to its own accounting ledger.
Fee heads let a school show parents exactly what they pay for and let the accountant post each component to the right ledger. Some heads are refundable (such as a security deposit) and are handled differently.
