Fee Blocking
A school rule that holds an action — such as a hall ticket, report card or TC — for students with unpaid fees, with an authorised override.
Fee blocking is a sensitive policy. Where schools use it, the rule should be clear in advance (any balance, an overdue amount or days overdue), applied consistently, and allow a recorded, time-limited override for genuine cases.
