Boarding schools carry a duty of care around the clock

At a residential school, the hostel office must know at any hour where each child is: in the room, out on a pass, at the infirmary or gone home for the weekend with an approved guardian. Paper registers and wardens' notebooks do not survive a parent's urgent phone call at 10 pm.

SSMS models hostels, blocks, floors, rooms and beds with type and facilities. Students are allocated beds, moved and vacated with history, and the hostel fee is billed through fee services. Wardens take night and morning roll calls on a phone. Out-passes are requested by the parent or student, approved by the warden, and verified at the gate with the guardian's photo; the return is logged. Approved visitor lists, room inspections and damage charges are part of the same flow.

Next session's beds, booked in advance

When the next session is set up, current hostellers can retain or change rooms and new admissions can book beds from a booking window, with seats held per hostel, room type and gender, optional booking amounts, priority lists and a wait-list that moves up automatically. On the session start date, bookings turn into allocations and the hostel fee starts.

Mess and day boarding

Weekly menus by meal, diet types (veg, non-veg, Jain, special), meal counts from roll call, mess attendance and guest meals. Day boarders — lunch, study hour, evening snack — are enrolled as a fee service, so billing follows enrolment.
